Baines' Camp in the Okavango Delta is an intimate camp of five luxurious and secluded suites on elevated platforms. Well shaded by huge Sausage and Jackalberry trees, the camp offers excellent wildlife and panoramic views over a perennial lagoon. The décor of each elegant tented suite is simple yet richly textured; themed around a Thomas Baines painting. Facilities include a spacious bathroom, minibar, ceiling fan, elevated private deck and a unique four-poster bed on wheels for an optional sleep-out under the stars! The open deck on the water’s edge has a suspended fireplace and a rimflow swimming pool with two salas for afternoon siestas. Activities include day and night 4x4 game drives, walking safaris as well as mekoro and boat cruises in season. Specialist elephant programmes are also on offer.
