Kate and Maddy stayed in May:
"One of our favourite places is Teremok Lodge in Umhlanga (the quieter end beyond the highrise hotels!) This is a very upmarket guestlodge (five star) which makes for a perfect base for a night or two especially if you're catching an early flight. The rooms are exquisite and extremely well appointed. Each has a balcony or terrace, fans, AC, DVD player with about 30 dvd's to choose from, kimonos, extensive range of bathing stuff, candles etc. The bathrooms are usually open plan with a huge bath, large shower and separate toilet with loo and bidet. A nice touch was the comprehensive instructions in the lodge manual as to how to get your laptop working for the intenet (with detailed instructions for different operating systems.) They also do light lunchs and dinners that can be brought to your balcony or taken in the dining room. There’s a pleasant tropical garden, full or partial sea views from each room, swimming pool, gym and treatment room and the beach is 300 metres away so only a short walk.
