Kirawira enjoys a commanding and panoramic view of the Serengeti plains. It is the premier lodge in the area and the flagship of the Serena hotel operation, a far more intimate experience than that at Ngorongoro. Although it is a tented camp, this is far from a ?basic? experience. You stay in one of 25 luxuriously-appointed tents which have an en suite bathroom with flush loo and a shower. The dιcor is evocative of the pioneer safari experience of the 19thC, combined with colourful local materials and artefacts. Despite the rugged surroundings, Kirawira provides superb cuisine and professional service.
