Silvermist Mountain Lodge Estate is a 60-acre mountain-side estate of well-designed self-contained cottages in the beautiful Constantia Nek area of Cape Town. The estate has a swimming pool, mountain trails and a coffee shop serving breakfasts. Access to beaches and Constantia wine estates is easy. Silvermist comprises older Ridge cottages and newer Gateway cottages, which we recommend if your budget allows. Each of the one, two or three bedroom cottages has a large fireplace and either a private deck or terrace. All are fully serviced daily. Children are welcome however please note that we don't recommend the Ridge cottages for very small children as their decks open out onto quite a steep hillside. There's an extra sleeper couch in sitting room.
There are four Gateway cottages, with two bedrooms and two bedrooms and a mezzanine sleeping area. The signature lodge, Spring Cottage, has a rimflow plunge pool on a timber deck, gourmet kitchen, 2 en suite bedrooms, a mezzanine bedroom, lounge with satellite TV and fireplace leading onto the pool deck and outdoor woodfired oven.
One of the Cape's mountain walking trails starts in the reserve, and access to beaches and Constantia wine estates is easy.
