The intimate Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is ideal if you're looking for a romantic yet fun hotel with a distinctly glamourous feel to it. Five minutes drive from Camps Bay, sandwiched between the 12 Apostles mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean, it has enough on offer to keep you happily ensconced there all day with the top-of-the-range Spa, the breath-taking garden magically perched above the ocean, walking trails up the mountain complete with picnic spots, two heated outdoor pools and jacuzzis. Inside the Azure Restaurant offers seductive sea views and an innovative Fynbos-inspired tasting menu. There's lots of unique features at this hotel: a 16-seater private cinema showing 3 movies a day, complete with milkshakes on hand; a massage pavilion in the garden for alfresco treatments, a DVD library to choose from, beach bags in the room ready for use… Complimentary road transfers to the V&A Waterfront are offered or by private helicopter at a reasonable extra cost.
The 70 luxurious air-conditioned rooms each have television, telephone, DVD player and minibar and are located in four wings and the 'skylighted' interlinking corridors are bright and refreshing. All luxury rooms have their own private terrace whilst business rooms have all the equipment and services of a mobile office. TGCSA five star hotel.

What I like about it all the little extras on offer. As well as the stunning ocean setting, top restaurant featuring a fynbos inspired tasting menu, and of course the top of the range Spa, it has some unique features for a Cape Town hotel - walking trails from the hotel complete with picnic spots, its very own cinema showing 3 movies a day, massage pavillion in the garden for alfresco treatments, DVD library to choose from, beach bags provided in the room ready for use..."
