Casuarina Beach is situated on Anse aux Pins, a long white sandy beach in the South-east of Mahe. Half of the 20 en suite rooms are in separate bungalows comprising three rooms each with private veranda. Whilst a colonial villa, the Villa des Flots, contains the other half including the honeymoon suite and family room. All have sea views, air-conditioning, telephone and tea/coffee facilities. The restaurant offers exclusive Creole cusine with local fish, seafood, meat and fruit as well as good Italian cuisine. Folkloric entertainment is presented on the weekends. Additional comments by Kate: A unique feature of the hotel is its Creole style. The reception, bar and restaurant are in a rustic building with coconut trunks as pillars and a thatched latanier roof whilst walls are made of macouti, (braided coconut leafs).
